The PMQ scheme was initiated by the HKSAR Government to preserve the Grade III listed building as a heritage site, dedicated to supporting the creative industries. Artworks provided by Dais were sourced to bring leading emerging talent from British art schools to Hong Kong.
Artworks included a large scale painting (featured right) by Slade School of Art graduate Kyounghee Noh, two photographic works by London College of Communication graduate and winner of the 2014 International Kontinent Award Ellie Davies (featured below) and a large scale painting by Royal College of Art graduate Paula Baader (featured last).
PMQ comprises of exhibition and event spaces, various food and beverage establishments and affordable units that are rented out to artists and designers. The complex launched in May 2014 in liaison with Art Basel Hong Kong.
